Very nice and helpful owner (parle aussi français couramment): information on car rentals, buses, good restaurants, etc. Nice views from the room. Breakfast included. Staying in Kamares as some advantages.
A bit of a hike to walk up from the port (not long, but steep).

Stella is a wonderful host, she does eveything for her guests. The hotel is really nice, with its pool. The rooms are clean and a great value for money. The place is really quiet. It is close from restaurants, buses and Kamares's beach. We spent wonderful days there.
The hotel is situated on a small hill, so I wouldn't recommend it for old people having pain to walk.

First, the owner/manager is wonderful. She is engaging, personable, and helpful. It's easy to feel a part of her family, and a fine one that is. The location is convenient, yet provides excellent views of Kalemares Bay and sunsets. The Pool, breakfast area, and outdoor lounge are exceptional. Our room was spacious, clean. Comfortable, and had two unexpectedly large terraces. Margado provides excellent value, even with the Euro exchange rate.
Small shower by American standards

Stella, the hotel owner, was very welcoming. We received an e-mail after our reservation, asking for our arrival time in order to come pick us up at the port. Nice and clean hotel, with beautiful seaview. Weather was too cold to test the swimming pool :-)
So welcoming that it is sometimes too much, you end up feeling more in a bed and breakfast than in an hotel. Which of course will be very appreciated by some customers.
